SAFETY IS THE GOAL TO BE ACHIEVED EVERY DAY

At MA-FRA, we have always been very attentive to all aspects concerning safety, protecting our workers and making products that are safe for those who use them and environmentally friendly.

As early as 2013 we achieved an ambitious milestone with BS OHSAS 18001 certification related to health and safety management, which will be replaced in 2019 by ISO 45001. Thanks to these certifications, and the constant effort we devote to this important issue, today we can claim to be a state-of-the-art company where workers are protected in terms of both health and safety in the workplace. But we are not satisfied: the goal is to reduce or eliminate any kind of risk.

WORK SAFETY

Working at MA-FRA means operating in a safe environment with systems to protect worker health and programs to sustainably improve employee motivation. ISO 45001 certification attests that our employees, but also all people who are not permanently employed, such as subcontractors, are protected and work according to strict safety standards. Outsourced processes also meet precise safety standards.

Workplace safety also translates into an inclusive environment where workers are treated with respect and where the concept of "Opportunity" is a key aspect affecting health and safety. All of our managers are empowered to ensure a peaceful work environment that provides opportunities for professional growth for every employee.

SAFETY for the environment

As a chemical company, we are particularly attentive to all aspects concerning the environment and its protection. ISO 14001 certification is testimony to this. This certification defines international standards aimed at protecting the environment, preventing pollution, and reducing the consumption of energy and resources.

All our products not only guarantee the best performance but also ensure a low environmental impact thanks to new environmentally friendly active ingredients for a more livable world. Demonstrating our "green" commitment, we were the first company in the industry to eliminate chlorofluorocarbons and use only natural surfactants of plant origin.

SAFETY for the consumer

To protect end users, all of our detergents have an information sheet as required by Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 of the European Parliament, which came into force in 2005.

MA-FRA is committed to keeping its labels up to date with the law at all times, helping consumers to use the detergent they purchase safely and effectively.

ISO 45001 is applicable to any organization that wishes to establish, implement and maintain a management system to improve occupational health and safety and eliminate or reduce risks (including system deficiencies).In fact, the standard offers organizations, in addition to an internationally recognized standard, the correct direction for formalizing and structuring risk management, managing legislative compliance, disseminating safer work practices and evaluating worker health and safety performance. The systemic approach facilitates a decrease in the number of incidents and business continuity.

The ISO 45001 certificate integrates with those related to ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environment, which have long been MA-FRA's assets: a long path of excellence that has reached its culmination with the acquisition of this important certification, which places the Company among the most virtuous national chemical companies.

On October 8, 2005, the following came into force. Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of March 31, 2004 on detergents. MA-FRA S.p.A. is committed to keeping its labels up to date in accordance with the law at all times, helping consumers to use their purchased detergent safely and effectively.
