safety

SAFETY IS THE GOAL WE MUST ACHIEVE EVERY DAY

At MA-FRA Group, we have always paid great attention to all aspects of safety, protecting our workers and making products that are safe for users and environmentally friendly.

As early as 2013, MA-FRA SpA reached an ambitious milestone, obtaining BS OHSAS 18001 certification for health and safety management, replaced in 2019 by ISO 45001. Thanks to our constant commitment to this important issue, we can now say we are a state-of-the-art Group where worker health and safety are protected in the workplace. However, we do not stop here. Our goal is to reduce or eliminate any kind of risk.

Safety in the workplace

Working in a MA-FRA Group company means working in a safe environment with systems that protect employee health and programs that sustainably increase employee satisfaction. The certification proves that the employees, as well as others, such as subcontractors who not directly employed, are all protected and follow strict safety standards. Processes that are outsourced also comply with strict safety standards.

Safety at work also means an inclusive environment, where workers are treated with respect and where the concept of opportunity is a key aspect affecting health and safety. All our managers are responsible for ensuring a peaceful work environment that provides each employee with opportunities for professional growth.

Environmental safety

As a Group that operates in the chemical industry, we are particularly focused on environmental protection. Not only do all our products guarantee the best possible performance, but they also ensure low environmental impact thanks to new eco-friendly active ingredients for a more liveable world.

As proof of our green commitment, we were the first company in the industry to eliminate chlorofluorocarbons and use only natural, plant-based surfactants.

Consumer safety

To protect end users, all our detergents come with an information sheet as required by Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 of the European Parliament, which went into effect in 2005.

MA-FRA S.p.A. certifications
The ISO 45001 standard is applicable to any organization that wishes to set up, implement and maintain a management system to improve health and safety at work and eliminate or reduce risks (including system failures): in fact, the standard offers organizations, in addition to an internationally recognized standard, the correct address for formalising and structuring risk management, legislative compliance management, the dissemination of safer working practices and the assessment of the safety and health performance of workers. The systemic approach facilitates the reduction of the number of incidents and the continuity of the business.
The ISO 45001 certificate integrates with those related to ISO 9001 quality and the ISO 14001 environment, long heritage of MA-FRA: a long path of excellence that reached its peak with the acquisition of this important certification, which places the Company among the most virtuous national chemical companies.
On 8 October 2005, Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 March 2004 on detergents entered into force. MA-FRA S.p.A. undertakes to keep its labels up to date in accordance with the law, helping the consumer to use their purchased detergent in a safe and effective way.
